| Clubshow 2007
This year I was honoured and
pleased to judge the special show for CSW at Hoenderloo, the Netherlands.
The presence of 38 dogs is in my opinion a great amount for such a
small country. The ring was perfect and big enough for the dogs to
show their movement. The organization was excellent prepared! Special
thanks to Annemieke Keuning for writing the jury reports, to Lies van
Essen for leading of the ring and to Corrie Keizer, for the
interpretation, translation and help during the demonstration of our
Czech bonitacion!
And
now the dogs. I saw and judged many
interesting
and beautiful dogs and was pleased about the quality of the dogs
shown. Although it isn’t right to generalize, but most of them met all
the requirements in type, format, movement and character. The weaker
points I found in some of the dogs were their expression or in the
shape of their heads. This is something for Dutch breeders to take
notice of.
For some dogs it was their
first time on a dog show and they had a little bit problems to show
their teeth and to present themselves well. Next time the owners and
these dogs will have learned to do this better.
I am a breeder and big fan of
the Czechoslovakian Wolfdogs myself and can be very pleased when I see
people who share my passion. Even if we do have differences in opinion
about certain aspects, it is good to broaden ones horizon. In the
Netherlands I have met some very nice people. For me it was a nice
weekend in an interesting and beautiful small country amongst very
kind breeders and fans of Czechoslovakian Wolfdogs!
Thanks !!!
